Stillwater Technologies partnered / sponsored Troy High School’s “Battle Bot” team for competition at the DRMA’s Advanced Manufacturing Technology Show at the Dayton Airport Expo Center as part of Ohio’s October Manufacturing Month activities.
The Bots competition had 50 high school teams from around the Greater Dayton area. The purpose of the competition is to introduce students to design and manufacturing principles necessary to produce a radio controlled robotic machine to destroy or disable the competition’s machine.
Troy’s team experienced several victories before being disabled. Those students participating in the competition all agreed it was a great experience. “We learned a lot and look forward to the next event”.
