New Project for Thomas Jefferson National Labs

Stillwater Technologies has begun work on a significant project for Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility which consists of a large number of special fixturing structures. Jefferson Labs is home to the Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility (CEBAF) which is being upgraded to 12GeV beam energy, as well as home to the Free Electron Laser (FEL) – the world’s most powerful, tunable laser. Stillwater is grateful to have been selected as the primary vendor for this work.

In his new postion, Phil will bring newly hired machinists up to speed with Stillwater’s standards ensuring continued quality and your satisfaction. Mr. Stauffer comes to Stillwater with an extensive background in machine trades, currently holding the position of Adjunct Faculty in the Computer Aided Manufacturing Department at Sinclair Community College, Dayton, Ohio.

The AS9100 standard is designed to meet the stringent, complex and unique demands of the aerospace, defense and space industries. Bill Lukens, former Stillwater Technologies President, is happy to announce the hiring of Michael van Haaren as the new President and COO. Bill, who has been President since 1978, will now take on the role of Chairman / CEO.

Stillwater Technologies, Inc. announced that Michael van Haaren has been hired as President / COO. William E Lukens, who has held the position of President since 1978 will serve as Chairman / CEO. Todd Marlow has been named Vice President of Manufacturing. Rick Brewer has recently joined the company as Quality Manager.
